The atmosphere of Aix en Provence, the former capital of Provence, is one of charming hospitality and subtle grace, conveyed by its 17th and 18th century town houses, magnificent fountains and grand avenues. In 1472, the Good King Rene, Duke of Anjou and Count of Provence, constructed this Bastide (country house). Today, Citea La Bastide Du Roy Rene is a 3-star residence welcoming tourists, business men and lovers of Aix en Provence. It is an ideal base from which to enjoy this famous city. The residence is situated next to the Val de l'Arc Sports Complex, which offers tennis courts, a swimming pool in the summer, a bowling centre and a club house with bar and restaurant.
The residence front office is open from 07.30 am till 21.00, from Monday to Friday, and from 08.00 to 12.00 and from 14.00 to 18.00 at the weekend and bank holidays. Do not hesitate to contact the residence in case of late arrival. At your arrival, the payment will have to be made directly at the hotel.
